Been discussed at length in this thread:

Just because we have a majority in both houses doesn't mean it will be a cakewalk. There are many congress critters that have a R after their name but they are really RINOs. Of course the Dems will wail at the wall with every nonsensical argument you can imagine. Here's what can happen.
    - Nothing. Not enough support in either the House or Senate for passage. Or we can't get out of committee in the first place.
    - A Little Something. To get enough support for passage it will be necessary to water the bill down. Moves from the $200 transfer tax to $5 AOW tax.
    - Something More. The adults figure it out that it's stupid to regulate a muffler and take it off the NFA list. It then goes to being a 'normal' firearm. Fill out a 4473 and take it home.
    - The Hail Mary. It passes and is signed as presented. If we had a super majority in the House and Senate this could happen. We don't.

I believe the end result is Something More. Fill out a 4473. Quick NICS check and take it home. I'm cool with it. Either way get off your duff and email your congress critters and make some noise about it. Remember they work for you.
