    I just passed by there on Morris and there is an FBI perimeter around the entire building and parking lot. They have the parking lot entrances physically blocked with their vehicles. Appears like an FBI response team.

    Any of you local LEOs got a clue?

    Heard from a friend they won't let anybody in or out. They are not saying why yet.

    I don't know about conspiracy but since my wife works on one side and my child's school is on the other both within 1/2 mile of the station in question, my interests are peaked.

    HAMMOND – The FBI has raided the police department here along with the sheriff's office.

    City officials declined to comment on the phone and refused to make themselves available for a TV interview Thursday. It is unclear what the raids are related to.

    The Advocate reported the FBI raided an office of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff. The city of Hammond confirmed to WBRZ federal agents were at the police station for the city but did not know why and said *no comment.*

    Wonder if it has anything to do with that DEA person who got busted selling drugs? Maybe some trickle down effect on the whole dept.

    Time will tell.
