My goals are a little smaller for 2017 than 2016. Been strength training since November 2015, but my bench still isn't at 225 and that is the first thing that I want to hit. Granted, I hit 205 last Sunday for 3 reps, so 225 isn't so far around the corner. I also need to lose about 20 pounds and doing so without losing strength will be a challenge.

As for my other lifts, I just want to keep adding weight as I can. In 2016 I managed to get up to 265 on squat, 315 on deadlift, and 135 on overhead press. I'm proud of my results at 43 years of age for just 14 months of being serious in the gym.

    2017 goals:
    Push-ups
    Current: 50 straight
    Goal: 65

    Sit ups
    Current: 49 in one min
    Goal: 60

    Running
Current: hardly run at all...maybe 1-2 ten minute EZ runs a week.
Goal: 3-4 EZ runs a week

Bonus: if all goes well, and no injury set backs...then will increase to some training sessions during Summer and attempt a sub 5 min mile during the Fall. Has been approx 5 years since breaking 5mins. Getting old sucks, lol.

Back to karate 3x a week (its a serious cardio workout!). More bag time too...

Getting the Christmas junk food out the house by New Years is going to be the real challenge!

    Back Squat 405, deadlift 500, snatch 220, clean & jerk 275.

Front squatted 315x5 yesterday so I think I'm on the way to a 400+ in the back.

Just wanted to update. I can row 315 for reps now and 275 for 10+. Everything else is pretty much same. Kind of afraid to hit pr for bench or squat since I workout alone and dont like asking people for spot. So whenever I max im do it solo. It helps me get in the zone and i see it either as get up the weight or Im screwed. Weight still same. I did start to box again so that should be some good cardio.
