Without seeing the mount for the holster in person it looks like you could fabricate an attachment plate to take the place of the one screwed in tholster and connect it to the neck of the Amazon mount. So many ways to redneck this thing.

Chop the top rod off and epoxy to the cap. The cap rotates to push the locking bars out.

Came out great! Very snug fit. Doesn't vibrate. Retention (adjustable screw), is very good but easy to draw. It's Removable (so in the extremely rare case that I have to go somewhere I can't carry, I can take the holster out and hide it so a scumbag won't think I have a gun hidden in the truck)! Not in the way of anything! I am very happy with this design! No holes drilled through any of my interior either!

Online supplier convinced me to use acetal rod instead of Delrin because it was essentially the same thing but less expensive! And boy, are they proud of that crap!

Does the cup holder hold the base pretty well? When you pull the pistol does the rest stay in place?

Yes! I have grinded the diameter to a very snug fit. I have also put some stress testing on it by drawing the pistol in awkward positions. It is not coming out of there from a draw pull!

Let me re-emphasize; I hope that I NEVER have to even think about using this for what I made it for!

BTW; In many practice strokes I was able to grab the pistol and go to full draw in milliseconds!
