Does anyone know the concealed carry policy of the Joy Theater in New Orleans?
I'm sure it's a posted no carry venue, but wondering if they actively check people coming through the door.
Going see Arron Lewis next week and wondering how to stay armed and out of trouble with "the man".

I was there for a comedy show about a year ago and didn't see anyone being checked and no metal detector that I saw. There's a parking lot about one block north, on the same side of the street, that is always empty and close enough to walk back if you do need to disarm.

Just for those that might go for an event at this venue, they do wand you on the way in the door.
Didn't see them wanting the females but they definitely check purses.
Arron Lewis rocked the doors off the joint while wearing a Trump cap.
First thing he did was tell the balcony to stand up and he stated the Pledge of Allegiance.

    Nice.
My experience was similar about 6 months ago. Wand and purse searches. FYI They also had a knife drop area kind of like a coat check, which I had to utilize. Tag and drop off on the way in, pick up on the way out
