I got one several years ago from the CMP. Still in the box. Time to take it out and play. I'd like someone to show me the ropes on how to properly take it apart (especially the bolt, I hear it is a bit tricky), clean it, inspect/crown if necessary the bore as PECEMKR above remarks.

The crown you can check by dragging a q tip on it to see if a burr pulls off cotton, if it looks good its probably good to go. The bold can be cleaned by a good soak in mineral spirits and blowing out with compressed air and by oiling.
DO that and try shooting it with different ammo, Wolf Match Target, Eley match, RWs R 50, or lapua center x. If it wont shoot, then send it off. Most will do just fine and shoot to the ability of the gun after that.
