    So I saw this on FB and figured I'd give it a shot...

    Started by throwing a roast in the crock pot this morn then shredding it up.

    Next was to caramelize some onions

    Couldn't find slider buns, so I substituted Hawaiian rolls. Layered on the beef, then the onions, finally provolone cheese. Put the tops of the rolls on. slathered melted butter on top and sprinkled on parsley. Popped it in the oven for a few minutes.

    It came out pretty darn good! I'll do another search for a better au jus recipe next time...

    I would not turn down an invite.....

    But when I think of french dip, for some reason I think of thinly sliced prime rib.
