Up for trade is an SS 10x42 rifle scope. Photos are above (and references below), but briefly this is a 10 power scope on a 30mm tube with a 42mm objective and mil dot reticle. Scope has side parallax/focus and adjustable target turrets. I originally bought two of these about 10 years ago for my two M1A rifles but only mounted one, the one you see on my rifle to illustrate how it looks mounted. This particular scope up for trade has had rings attached but I can’t recall it ever being mounted, as I went with a different scope for the second rifle. There is a small scratch on the front part of the objective bell, and now that I look closely at the photos, see what appears to be slight ring marks, but overall almost new condition. See-though lens covers, Warne steel rings ($70), and Springfield Armory Gen 2 mount for the M1A/M14 rifle ($75) included, and no pesky sales tax. Valued at $500 plus/minus, prefer to trade and open to offers.
My interests for trade are mainly rifles or pistols. I like surplus military firearms. Do you have something just laying around that you haven’t shot in a while, or have just a small investment in and would like to trade for something different?
On my current wish list (by all means not inclusive) is a bolt action .22 that would be appropriate for mounting a set of Redfield Palma or International sights, a traditional bolt action hunting rifle in .308 or 30-06, a ’98 Mauser, a 1911 slide with NM type adjustable sights, and anything firing 7.62x39. These are just on the list, and not necessarily what we can actually trade. It never hurts to make a trade offer….
