Hey guys. Last year I purchased a police trade-in full sized M&P .40
Great pistol, I love it. After putting about 500 rounds through it (on top of God only knows how many before I owned it) I noticed there seems to be some damage to the locking block. A new locking block is only around $15 but I can't seem to find one online. Every site I've checked is out of stock. Does anyone know if this is a major safety issue and this damage could cause a catastrophic malfunction? Or is the firearm still safe to fire in this condition? Also, if anyone has any leads on where to find a replacement, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
