Hi all!
My name is Robert and I'm a new member from Baton Rouge. I'm a Marine veteran ('79-'92) and during part of that time, I was a competitive shooter on the Parris Island Shooting Team and a Marksmanship Instructor (8531). I retired from teaching Jujutsu and Judo here in Baton Rouge several years ago due to four decades of bodily abuse, and now I am into competitive dog obedience and other dog related sports. I recently got off my butt and back to the range, and have applied for my concealed handgun permit. I'm looking forward to meeting other shooting enthusiasts here locally, seeking advice when needed, and would be interested in continued firearms training since I know that CCW classes are just the beginning.
