That was my last text before I hit the bed last night. Even though there is one weekend left of Rabbit season my wife has plans for me next weekend so this would be my last hunt of the year.
My oldest son would be coming on the hunt which always makes me smile because we don't get to hunt together as much now a days as he is working full time and doesn't live at the house anymore. I still have the picture of the first squirrel he shot when he was a kid on my filing cabinet at work. It will stay there until I retire.
I am up before my alarm rings and I walk to the coffee maker and turn it on. A quick look at the iPad to see what happened over night in the world and then it's back to the coffee maker for the first cup of Joe to get me moving ( more to follow)
