well got it pretty much set up,still need tall sights. This is my first rmr and deff my first rmr on a pistol, its a little diff. and kinda diff to get used to. I went with the 12.9" triangle dual illuminated fiber/tritium. Playing with it at first I wasn't that impressed, but as I messed with it in the yard its growing on me real fast, the quality is really starting to show. It was very overcast/no sun at all and it was low behind the trees,I could still see the triangle very crisp, and deff bright enough the pics don't do it justice (bow target/tree line is 25 yards for reference). Just trying some dry fire exercises It was incredibly crisp triangle point out to 75yards, looking at a 8" gong if I do my part and the gun does its part its very easy to put the triangle point in the center of the gong with no doubt of POA. I stayed outside playing with it till almost dark and was still very easy to acquire target. When I went into a pretty dark room and let my eyes adjust it was pretty easy to see triangle just had a little haze around it, deff still capable of connecting with target. The only draw back I can think of is inside the sight I lacking, very dim, and standing inside looking outside a window it is VERY dim. Not a deal breaker but makes me wonder while hunting out of a box stand if I will be able to see, I guess only time will tell, but I very rarely hunt out of a box stand mostly ladder/climbers. But was just something I didn't think of. I went with the dual illuminated because my main purpose for the pistol is basically deer/hog hunting back up, 4 wheeler riding, checking hog traps, running hoop nets, working on the tractor ect. basically rough outside work, and also plan on trying to take a deer/hog with it. I do a lot of stalk hunting in the swamp, and I was concerned about turning the rmr on and leaving it on for hours at a time and never actually using it and wasting the battery, and on the other hand having to pull it in a situation and it not be on because I didn't wanna turn it on to ride in the boat all day and leave it on and never use it, lol its a loose loose. Yes I know I need to get the tall sights for that situation, but 99.999% of my target shooting, hunting, traping, tractor work is during the day, so I opted for a allways on. I cant wait to try it with even a little sun to see how much diff it makes
