    Today on Fox8 news was a report of a 101 year old lady in Bogalusa who has been robbed 6 times in her home while she slept. Perp breaks in and steals her cash from her purse. After the fourth time she had an alarm installed. It was armed and he still got in somehow without her knowing, guy broke a window but did not raise it to enter. They said in the report she is hearing impaired. Can you imagine the horror of knowing some guy is walking within her house while she sleeps? I knew of a case similar to this years ago in Gramercy, LA but the perp "disappeared" forever one night.

    Lady needs an armed guard for a couple months. Blow that guy to curb permanently. Sad state of affairs.

    The guy you talking about in Gramercy was arrested and spent 4 years in jail. We chased him down one night after he broke into a house and was looking at the woman sleeping when the husband woke up and he took off. We caught him in the then cane field between Airline Ave and David road. His last name was Willie Gauffe.

    The "husband" was my brother in law. Willie liked to burn small spy holes in the shades on windows, and steal change off the dresser top while others slept.
    I'm betting we know a lot of folks in common.
