    All,

BayouShooter, in conjunction with FRC Gun Range in Baton Rouge, will be hosting a meet and greet style event with free food and range passes for all members. The event is on Friday, May 26th, 2017, 6:30PM to 9:30PM.

Tentative plans are for there to be jambalaya, non-alcoholic drinks, and a plethora of fully-auto weapons for you to test out.

Please see this post for more information:

If we have never been to that range before, will we have to do orientation that day and watch the video before we can shoot?

If you have not been before, they usually have you watch the informational/Safety video first. It's not long at all and well made with good info specific for their range.
Once you do that, they will issue you a FRC range card. Just show them your range card next time you come in and you do not have to view safety video again.
That's how it was a while back.

It's a great place to shoot!

That is correct Jasarii! It only takes about 10 minutes for the entire process. We just require you watch a short safety video and sign a waiver and you're good to shoot.

Yes. We can setup a group watch of the video. It takes 10 minutes or so and is informative. I imagine their insurance policies dictate that anyone who shoots must watch the video.
