I'm keeping my eye on this one and thought everyone here might be interested in it as well. Haven't seen any mention of it on the forum yet.

This Act is known and may be cited as the "Louisiana Constitutional Carry and Restoration of Second Amendment Rights Act of 2017"

It's been mentioned numerous times already, and we are definitely trying to keep spreading the word! I've posted about it twice, and a couple other members have as well. Never hurts to have another member posting about it. I've emailed Barry Ivey and multiple other representatives trying to find out if there is a petition we can sign floating around the internet anywhere like they had last year, but no word on that yet. If one doesn't pop up soon, I may look into starting one myself. Keep getting the word out! Call or email your district's representative and make sure he/she knows that WE THE PEOPLE of Louisiana support this bill 100%!

I don't know why it didn't come up in the search results. Maybe I was searching the wrong combination of words. Was hoping to avoid a duplicate thread. I've been away from the forum a while and may have missed mention of it.
I plan to sent a quick email later today to Ivey's office just to thank him for filing it. Also going to email my reps to ask them to support this bill as well.

Duplicate threads on this particular issue can't hurt one bit and will only help get the word out. The is the 3rd time ole Barry has tried to push this through and my fingers are crossed that the 3rd time's the charm.
