Good attendance for pizza day. The weather was great with just a little moist patch. We also had a fair number of juniors come out with a few first timers.

Good shooting by Robert Bose. Just in case he hadn’t sent a picture to everyone one the list yet…, it’s also worth mentioning that he managed to shoot a clean slow prone, 200-6. Nice job.

Warren Freeman took 1st Master, Grant Harris 1st combined Mk-Ss-Ex, and Thomas Walker 1st Jr. Nice shooting everybody.

Bill Jenkins took the F-Class match with 145-5

A few thanks are in order, Rhonda Walker went to get the pizza-thanks! Gary Schwabe and Mike Strikmiller called the match, George ran the match and predicted the weather.

One note: There apparently was a mix-up with a long and short green Creedmore rifle case. The long one is marked on the end with Bill Jenkin’s name in faded marker. Please help it to find its way back home. The shorter one is in the equipment shed.

See you next month on the 28th. Thanks also to the Dept. for allowing the use of the range.

NRA high power rifle rules apply. http://compete.nra.org/documents/pdf/compete/RuleBooks/HPR/hpr-book.pdf

You will need a rifle a stock and sights suitable to shoot standing, sitting, and prone positions. The use of a sling benefits sitting and prone positions. It must be re-loaded during rapid fire. The best rifle to start with is an AR-15. Other suitable rifles are the M1, M1A, M1903A3 Springfield, and any of the military surplus bolt rifles loaded with charger clips.
