I've been in Mandeville overnight, and I love sleeping in weather like this, so no worries for me. It's been storming all morning though

Heard thunder then a loud pop in the distance. I still have power and internet so luckily it wasn't a utility pole.

Was supposed to do a bike ride this morning, saw 30mph winds at 6am and the organizer canceled it. Went back to bed and slept awesome with the thunder rolling.

It was pretty wild out in the Central Baton Rouge area. Wind has been howling the entire weekend and this morning around 0800 the sky was an odd electric green color. At one point we thought we heard a tornado but it was just our neighbor's air conditioning unit (broken) kicking on and sounding like a freight train LOL. It definitely got everyone and the dog's moving this morning though. Always wondering if we're going to flood again. The street/yards in the neighborhood started filling up again... 3 hours after the rain stopped everything was dry for the most part. The ground just soaked it up.

Power outage at home. Ordered Pizza Hut pizza. Heading to woods to get one of my cameras out of a low area that will go under water by tomorrow afternoon.
