Sounds about like a pellet gun out of a bolt or lever gun. A bit noisy out of a revolver. They will dispatch possums etc with no issues.

I love this stuff for taking care of opossum, coon, etc.... in my back yard. Out of my 22" Ruger American bolt action it sounds like a daisy pellet gun.

Academy in Hammond has loads of .22 ammo right now, like .22 ammo heaven now after the last 4 or 5 years. Picked up a box of the quiet rounds.

I used them to take out an Armadillo in the back yard . The Sheriff didn't show up so it must not be too loud .
