Hope I'm not stepping into it or on thin ice, but I thought I would share an area of my passion for guns that lead to a new hobby. Curly makes this kind of stuff in his garage.

I always wanted a 1911 stand to show off some of my collection, but everything I found were single stands. I wanted a two-banger, or three-banger. One thing lead to another, then this.

Darn nice Curly! Have you thought of making up some for other pattern handguns? Say, like Glock, Browning HiPower, Makarov?

I have been asked to do that a couple times. It would be easy enough to do, but I would need a magazine for measurements and it would be best to get one in hand to take some critical angular dimensions.

If there was interest, I could get my hands on a Glock or three local to me. I would have to hit up a few local sites to get a Hi-Power for measurements. I could estimate the angular measurements from a photo most likely, but still would need a magazine.

I have also toyed around with making custom multi gun stands that mixed gun types - 1911's, Glocks, etc. It would take me a week or two to get time in the schedule, but I would love a challenge like that.

I need to get a glock version! For picture purposes of course. But not sure about my magwells will affect it.

I've had a few requests to make a Glock version. I wish I owned a few, as I would have made these up already.

I hope to be heading to my local gun store to take a few measurements. Stay tuned, I am notoriously slow on incorporating new designs, but when I do, it's full steam ahead . . .

For glocks you could always pick up a cheap after market mag and sacrifice the body of it. Like a promag, korean, ets, magpul, etc...

Yep, that is a good idea as the Korean mags are very inexpensive right now. I believe them to be under $10.
By the way Curly, your work continues to look good! :)
