The British civilians are almost completely unarmed! There is no provision for owning any weapon for self defense. In fact, "self defense" is not even recognized as an acceptable reason to carry a knife (which cannot be longer than 3 inches).
Talk about lambs fattened for the slaughter.
This is the kind of place where a citizen with no criminal offenses or record would end up being thrown in prison for 20 years if they stopped a mass killing with an "illegally" possessed weapon. Wouldn't even matter if they saved innocents from imminent slaughter.
Easy to see why the USA's 2nd Amendment should never be allowed to be taken away!

I know, its insanity. And the knives they are allowed to carry also cannot be locking knives. Company's like kershaw and others have made knives specially for the British people that comply with those ludicrous laws. They are friction locks or something like that.
Also yes I have heard stories of break-in victims going to jail for defending themselves from intruders.
Do British police even normally carry guns or do they have to call special teams in if they are needed?
