I was looking at a Trinity Force AR15 Buffer tube and Buffer / Kit. But I know nothing about them. Anyone use them or seen them before? Anyone have any Thoughts about them? Thanks, Arkangel77

A few reviews on Cheaper than dirt... I would say go for it for the price... if the end plate is out of spec, just shave it down and use some Alumablack to fix the finish. It's a great price for a 6 position tube, buffer, spring, nut and plate! Even if you have to buy and replace the plate (or a bottle or pen of alumablack)!

The reason I bring up the plate is because two of the reviewers said it was a problem... the other three loved it and had no issues.

Lack of quality control and mystery materials. You should be able to score a US made kit without stock for $40-$50 on the cheaper end. There should be some sales at a lot of online retailers this weekend for Fathers Day.

That's the same Chinese kit. The black buffer is a dead giveaway. Almost all of the "budget" AR15 stuff today is Chinese. Here ya go JoeBob Dun Save You, and then just put whatever milspec sized stock on it you like. You may even be able to find someone here selling a basic M4 stock they have laying around for cheap since a lot of people upgrade that part.

You don't want to use sub par parts, especially in the BCG, buffer tube/spring/buffer. Thats all parts that cycle with extreme force and speed. Trying to save 30 bucks may cost you in the long run. Not to mention the headache of fighting potential cycling issues to save some money on some of the cheapest parts of the build.

well I just ordered this. Hopefully it will work well for me?

    https://ar15discounts.com/products/mil-spec-buffer-kit

Just wanted to add that I also ordered this from Ebay.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-position-...h-grip-ALPHA-KIT-WITH-GRIP-BLACK/182631911640

And for what its worth - the Trinity force Kit seems way nicer as far at fit and finish. Parts seem to be better made and all the finishes are better in the trinity force kit - Whats more, The Trinity Force kits has a 100% lifetime warranty and they are located in California. I know its got a Black Buffer - but it seems to be a nicer set to me?

AT this point I am not sure which One I will use...
