    I recently decided to start converting cash into silver bars for the future.

    My question is can I do anything with my old silver jewelry or silverware etc around here? Would love to have it melted into little bars. I don't have a lot, but thought it would be a good use instead of sitting in a drawer.

    Go see Chris at Chris' Fine Jewelry on West Esplanade by Causeway. Chances are he'll swap you weight for coins with a little discount.

    Gulf south coin and precious metals . Zenith St. by Clearview and I-10. They handle it all and prices are good. Avoid little places like Causeway Coin. They will stab u in the back. Right now is not the time to buy Silver because it is a little high. Sit back awhile and let the prices come down.

    Did you mean SOUTHERN COINS & PRECIOUS METALS at 4513 Zenith St. ? I have purchased there only, but would consider selling too. Pleasant experience with some nice folks.

    SCPM is probably what he meant, it is on Zenith. Went today, great experience. Swapped the scrap jewelry for bars. Will definitely go back for my purchases and if I have other scrap to sell
