Is there enough interest to field a team for the National Trophy Rifle Team Match (Six Shooters plus two target pullers) and the National Trophy Infantry Team Match aka Rattle Battle (Six Shooters)?

That I am aware of Louisiana was not represented in either match in 2017.

We would probably need need to have a team assembled by April maybe even have a practice session or two.

Yes it is held at Camp Perry still. These matches are part of the CMP program.

There is a four man team match held by the NRA at Camp Atterbury the week before the CMP matches in Perry.

I would be happy to shoot the National Trophy team matches. It would help to have non-shooting team captain and coach and two score keepers in addition to six shooters.

Tony brought back a stack of E and F targets for infantry team practice.

    Nick,

That is a great offer. I am hoping the there will be a state HP match at Palo Alto in October. Hopefully we could come up with a plan that weekend.

Would LSA have any involvement? Even in terms of the team being an official Louisiana team.

    Regards,

    John,

How many Juniors made it to Perry from Louisiana this year? How did they do?

There were very few Juniors at Atterbury. At 54 years old I felt like a youngster there.

none, we had no Juniors ready to go. Hopefully I have two for next year, maybe 3.
NRA historically never has a big Junior crowd, CMP week tends to draw all the Juniors due to history of CMP Junior Support and chasing of leg points.
