Ordered my first 1911 and 10mm - Iver Johnson Eagle XL ported

I took a chance on it. I hope it turns out well. I had always wanted an RIA HC, but they are rare now that they are going for way $1k

Picked up the Dan Wesson today and my initial thoughts are that I like it much better than the Kimber as far as looks, fit and finish go. The gun just feels great in the hand. Can't wait to shoot it.

I definitely would go with the Kimber if you have the coin.

Went with the Kimber at first but ended up getting the Dan Wesson Razorback also. See my post above.
