You would hope so but, in a number of cases, you'd be wrong. For shits and giggles and because I was bored, I took 5 ads from each of the main gun marketplaces; long gun, handgun, and firearm parts. All 15 are labeled as WTS. I didn't pick any WTT posts. And I picked them based on a set pattern to avoid stacking the numbers for or against anything. There were 2 where the starting price was not listed as the original post had been edited. In one case, I used the seller's stated value. In the other, I quickly searched for an average price and used it as the start. From the limited results I got, the majority of the sellers aren't getting the point. In order to get a better picture, I would need to take a bigger sample. But I wasn't that bored today. Just a little bored.
