anyone ever convert a Glock or 1911 to 460 Rowland I have a Kimber 1911 and a Glock 21 so looking I know the kit cost about $400 but the ammo is about the same as 10mm and it has the power of a 44 mag

Got a friend in WA that has a Glock converted to it, swears by it but said that you gotta double the mag springs for it to feed properly. I can ask him specific questions if you want.

Was reading up on the conversion and they recommended the mag spring beef up still weighing the difference and cost, I have a 10 mm Glock 40 and would have to get a 21 ( trade one of my other guns for it ) then I was talking to one of the guys at work and they said the make a 50AE conversion for the Glock also hmmm have to figure out the cost to build one

I have a 460 Rowland converted Kimber. Love it. The only hard thing is the assembly with that heavy recoil spring. I reload RNFP.

Sounds nice was thinking about buying a Glock 21 and doing the conversion but I do have a Kimber
I think my 460 Rowland has Kimber has a 25 lb recoil spring w/ comp. The recoil is stout but manageable. I went to 255 gr RNFP bullets and push almost 1400 FPS at the muzzle. You need to trim brass just a bit to properly fit the magazines. I had no problems feeding factory ammo or Hornady XTP reloads. When I went to the RNFP hard cast I would get a miss-feed every other magazine; bullet has a larger meplat. There was a few thousandths edge between the feed ramp and barrel lug that needed smoothed out; feed ramp polish. Mention since it is one of those normal progressions you go through w/ this round; ball to RNFPs. I'd check the weight of the Glock compared to an all metal 1911; lighter gun more recoil. Overall a very positive experience w/ the round and gun.
