Greetings all,
I bought this one with thoughts of refinishing and restoring it to use for a snake revolver for yard work, hunting, etc, but they are just too uncommon for me to bring myself to modernize and ceracoat it. This little gun has been shot and carried a lot in the past and show just about every kind of wear that a gun can have, but generally fires and functions properly. I test fired it with some CCI standard velocity and shotshells to check function. The cylinder opens and closes with no resistance and has been snapped closed ala TV Cop/ Detective style and caused some warping of the frame where the cylinder stop is. The barrel has lots of small pits and worn markings.
On the plus side any 3" light weight D frame Colts are pretty scarce, and I understand that these Couriers are some of the rarest.
Prefer to sell FTF in the BR/ DS / Gonzales area: $425 Now SOLD$380
Would discuss trades on :
- Ruger 10/22 takedowns, heavy barrels, peep sight versions
- Glock 30, 36, 41 or 43
- 1911 .45 ACP officer's model or similar, or full sized 1911 in 9mm or .38 super
- Star Super B in 9mmLargo or 9mm P
- S&W or Ruger (DA or SA) revolvers in .22 LR, .32 Long/Magnum, .38 Spl, .357 mag, .44 spl
- a good red dot sight
- a good scout scope
- Dillon Square Deal B kits for common pistol calibers
Thanks,
Danny
