I just shot my Finnish Mosin nagant for the first time a week ago. Pretty darn accurate. I'd definitely feel comfortable hunting with it. If anyone is interested in good ammo to shoot in your Mosin nagant I'd recommend Sellier & Bellot soft point 180g. I've also heard the Privi stuff is good also.
