The Gonzales Match is "usually" on the fourth Sunday. This month is an exception and it will be held on the fifth Sunday.
The next match is October 29th.
This month is the Club Championship. There will be more prizes and pizza after the match. We will begin the 2018 F-class championship after the pizza. We hope you can make it.
First round downrange is at 0900. Get there early for registration and squadding.

so service rifle starts at 9am, and f class starts about what time ? also, for the f class, do you shoot only 223 or 308?

F Class is either TR or Open. Not sure on current rules but F/TR was .308/.223 with a bit of limits on weight & rest used- bipod & rear bag only. F/Open allowed other calibers, more weight and a better rest. All Prone @ 600 for Palo Alto. It may be a .22 F Class @ Gonzales. It is either 200 or 300 yds there.
Service Rifle if a very enjoyable class to shoot IMHO. XTC is a 3P match. Offhand @ 200, Sitting @300 and Prone @600 if at Palo Alto. At Gonzales it is on scaled targets all @ 200yds
Mid Range Prone is prone @ 600 for all 3 stages at Palo Alto. They have 4 classe IIRC, F/TR, F/Open, Service Rifle and Match Rifle.

Just for the sake of accuracy the course of fire for an Across the Course (XTC) match is as follows:
Offhand fired at 200 yards--20 shots--single loaded in 20 minutes without the use of a sling
Sitting fired at 200 yards--20 shots--Two strings of 10 loaded 2 and 8 in two magazines for service rifle or 5 and 5 for a match rifle, each 10 shot string is fired in 60 seconds with the use of a sling
Prone fired at 300 yards--20 shots--Two strings of 10 loaded 2 and 8 in two magazines for service rifle or 5 and 5 for a match rifle, each 10 shot string is fired in 70 seconds with the use of a sling
Prone fired at 600 yards--20 shots--single loaded in 20 minutes with the use of a sling
If the match is a 50 shot match the first 3 stages fire only 10 rounds with 20 being fired at 600 yards.
