I need a new barrel for an 870. Does anyone have any experience with target sports barrels? I'm not looking to spend a whole lot on it. Just dont want to buy something that is junk. Any ideas or input is appreciated.

I bought the 26" screw in choke barrel made by Target Sports. It is for the "New" style 870 but, I use it on my older one. It does not have the detent built in it to lock the magazine end cap in place so, I have to make sure and tighten it very tight. If you have one of the newer 870s that have an end cap that is held in place by the magazine spring pressure you are good to go.
The only other thing that I might add is this, these barrels don't use Remchokes. They are actually thread to take Winchokes or, Mossberg chokes. No big deal.
    I hope this helps you.

p.s. This barrel works just fine and is not a piece of junk at all.
