Has anyone had any experience with these yet? I've watched and read quite a bit about them, and most people say they suck out of the box but can be tuned up to be fairly decent shooters. I'm thinking for $99 if it puts down a good pattern the rest can be smoothed out to be a decent primitive season gun. The only thing I haven't really found about them is exactly how they patter buckshot, or shoot slugs without threading for a rifled choke.

Anyone have one and run buckshot through it?

I have the 410 version and it's a robust shotgun with a heavy trigger pull. Shoots 5 000 buckshot into a tight pattern at 30 yards. I have some .40cal buckshot (4 pellets) loads and it patterns those well also along with lead and steel shot.

Cool, I was considering a 410 version too, anything but the 12. I've found everything one could imagine about them except for the important thing, how they pattern.
