Can any SKS experts or gurus explain the difference in the SKS magazines from one country to another ? How can you tell them apart besides the serial number is one. What to look for?

    Thank you

IIRC, Basically Russian, Chinese, Romanian, & Yugoslavian are the same shape and interchangeable.
Albanian has different shape, a bit boxier, but is also interchangeable.
Serial numbers are all stamped on bottom with the exception of the Yugo which is on side and will have a part number either on bottom or other side.
Russian & Romanian may be better finished and have letters prefixed in the serial numbers.
There are some Chinese magazines that do not have serial numbers.
No 1 - 4 are Chinese, No 5 is early Russian Izhevsk, No 6 is Yugo
