Here’s a short video ( got to give credit to my buddy Luke who made the video ) of my trip to the Boundary Waters on the Minnesota/Canadian border. If you love to fish you have to make this trip. I usually go in the fall, but we went in July this time. You can go on the cheap, or you can get a full blown package from an outfitter. We choose the middle of the road trip, where all we bring is our fishing gear and the outfitter provides everything else. We use LaTourrels in Ely, Minnesota. They are the best of the best in my opinion. It’s a family owned and run business and know the Boundary Waters. This trip will change your life. This is some of the the most epic back country in the world and you would be hard pressed to find better fishing anywhere. Hopefully the link works, let me know if it doesn’t.
