How does the trigger on the Shield 2.0 compare to a Shield 1.0 with an Apex trigger kit?

It feels very similar but, but the apex doesn't have an audible click like the new 2.0 has.

I'm going to have to try out a 2.0. My main gripe about the 1.0 shield that I sold was its trigger and I didn't want to dump money into an Apex for fears that it wouldn't improve the gun enough for me to like it.

What does it cost to add an Apex trigger to a Shield. Trigger + how much average for the gunsmith?

Apex sells the full duty trigger kit for $159.95. This includes the full drop-in replacement trigger (in beautifully machined aluminum), the Apex sear (for positive trigger reset), and the necessary springs and bits to complete the job.

I did it myself. Took me about 45 minutes. I'm not a gunsmith, but I just slowly followed the instructions on their YouTube video and it came out perfectly.
