Looking for someone in the St Charles area to replace a 9mm AR 15 upper receiver and barrel. Anyone have recommendations for a gunsmiths out this way? I read the other post,and I don’t want to do it myself. Thanks for the help.

It almost sounds like switching out complete uppers would accomplish what you're looking for.
I have a colt 9mm and I’m pretty sure the upper receiver is not colt (no markings) but the barrel is. I just picked up a colt upper receiver, just need to have barrel removed from old receiver and placed on the colt one. Functions properly now, just want all colt. Just my preference.
