For sale is my Vintage Marlin Model 444 Big Bore Lever-Action rifle. Manufactured in 1966, which is the 2nd production year for this rifle. Features a 24” Micro-groove barrel with two barrel bands and a straight grip Mone Carlo stock which has a NRA Life Member badge on it. I would grade this 51 year old rifle very high for there is no rust, pitting, cracks or chips. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. Mounted on the receiver is the original Weaver (K2.5 60-B) scope with end caps. Also has a “JM” marked hammer extension as well as a leather sling. Rear adjustable folding semi-buckhorn sight and a hooded ramp front sight with brass bead. Black walnut buttstock and forearm, and a two-thirds length 5-shot tubular magazine. Detachable sling swivel studs and a rubber rifle butt plate.
Marlin has always believed in real wood stocks and solid steel parts, which gives the .444 a quality-look and feel plus Legendary durability and integrity. You will not be disappointed.
Comes with a black Marlin soft case.
