Any cons to doing this? Will be my first suppressor buy so I’m ignorant on the whole subject. If I still lived in LA I would probably go to interstate for the purchase. All of the dealers that I have seen local have cans listed for over the MSRP, which seems silly to me.

I was going to answer the questions but you live in Texas. Silencer Shop (silencershop.com) is in Texas so go through them. They have good pricing, can get you all squared away on paperwork (doing it remotely even) and submit everything for you, and then when approved they mail the suppressor and stamp to your door since you're a Texas resident.

A friend of mine bought most of his suppressors this way when he lived in Texas. Really easy.
