At first I was upset, then I was fully impressed by the amount of dedication to pull off such an epic trolling, and appreciative of their highly refined sense of humor.

They didn't just raid the feeder, too simple, done to death, they wanted to make it look like a bear did it. For a coon to be so committed to a prank to pack his face with 30lbs of corn to work up a bear sized turd....impressive.

They're ok, I dont really like the way they taste, plus they're smarter than the average 30 year old, or liberal arts professor. No garbage cans or anything for them to get into. I'll just have to buy more corn, or set them up their own feeder full of cheap cat food lol.

I understand... and you say that now, but once they have your number they tell all their buddies. Before you know it's like Venezuela and they start complaining about no toilet paper, no free vetinary care, and calling your home phone because McDonald's is out of Happy Meals.

    Then... they start organizing. ;)

No trash pandas here right now, but I just had a huge possum jogging down my street. I pulled up along side... he looked over like I was going to ask for directions... The car he sleeps under probably now sports one of the 13.1 stickers!

I'm fully prepared for them unionizing and trying to bring in socialism, I'll let write up socialist referendums to vote on, go with it for a few years, then when I can't afford to pay for the programs and violence runs rampant. I'll hold gun buybacks and set up knife drop off boxes. Then I'll have the coyotes "brown sweaters" crush the racoon uprising. Order restored.

Haha! As long as you have a good long term plan then I guess you are good to go.

As you can know, we have LOTS of experience and quite a bit of history on this forum with those particular creatures... all different kinds, but experience nonetheless!

Dang Gator, I hope your crew and mine never get together. Definitely an insurrection if they did. My record in one pic is 18. Only happened one time though... ;)

    Hahaha! ...and it begins...

One thing that I have noticed though is that they really don't seem to bother the deer much. Other than emptying your feeders. Unless they are jumpy for other reasons of course.

My Uncle Roy's Coon and Sweet Potatoes
He would wait till he had 6-8 of them. He would do is if he did not have enough, skin, gut, prep and freeze them. Wait till he or one of us boiled craw-fish, crabs etc.
Boil them all in the left over water. When cool enough, he would get all the meat, and them bake that meat, with sweet potatoes and brown sugar
    What a dish

Uncle Roy Passed away 3 years ago. He was not my real blood uncle. A good friends uncle who I grew up with. Old school guy like my dad.
Cool guy who said, he never knew he was poor, growing up LOL. But they never went without. He stayed that same way, till he died, and never let anything go to waist.
If they needed food they hunted, fished. There was always something to eat

Used to have a "coon circus" at my feeder! They would climb the legs...hang off the feeder...having a good ole time! That all ended when I put Vaseline on the feeder legs!
Now they at least act like they have manners! Got video of deer on their hind legs licking corn from the feeder plate but I can tolerate that!

At the place in LA I deer hunt, bears are a problem becoming bigger each year! They trash the cams and feeders but are untouchable by the game laws. Heard there was movement to open a bear season, but tree-huggers are tying it up in court.
