Easiest way to remove sights without the sight removal tool?

Youre gonna need a socket skinny enough to get in between the front of the slide and the head of the screw. The rear sight can be knocked out with a hard rubber hammer or brass punch.

If you're trying to remove the factory sights, a pencil and a shoe will knock the back out. Pliers can break the front off.

Or you can buy a cheap front sight tool and get a flat face punch.

Those polymer sights are no match for a $3 pair of HF pliers though

I agree it can be done just pointing out that the new ones are not staked. If you grab the polymer too hard you actually pinch the screw also and make it harder to pry off.

If you are installing night sights, percussion will get the old sight out, but may very well break the tritium glass vial in the new sights going in.

I know you're in Baton Rouge but, we only charge $25 to change sights on a Glock. Perhaps there's a forum sponsor your way who can do it for you, with the right tools. Sure beats ruining a $100 set of night sights.

It was $15 a couple years ago to have a set of Glock sights installed at Precision Firearms in Baton Rouge. I brought in my own sights and they did a good job.

Ditto on taking the gun to someone with the correct tool to push the old sight out (and more importantly, to press in the new sight without damaging it). If this is something you'll do more than two times, it might be worth investing in a decent sight pusher tool. There are a lot of good ones to choose from, and they make an otherwise maddening job into a simple 30 second task.
