    Somebody needs to explain why the new military handgun, a Sig 320 in 9mm, is "far more lethal" than the current Beretta 92 in 9mm.

    Must be the writer's perception. Glad to see they are getting Sigs.

    Someone has explained the "far more lethal" assessment. The phrase "far more lethal" in the title is a quote from the story. The only sentence in the story with the phrase "far more lethal" also gives the reasons for that assessment. I hate to spoil it in case you decide to read the entire article one day but it's not because of the writer's perception.

    Right now, my perception is that you can't read. According to the article, Lieutenant Colonel Steven Power made the comment that the pistol is a "far more lethal pistol" and explained why.

    I get your point though. I follow his logic and might concede that it's more lethal..... probably not "far" more lethal though.
