Hello, Bayou Shooter friends and family. I hope all is well with you beautiful bastards. Perhaps my cheery mood can be credited to the hydrocodone my dentist has me taking. Last week I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted and it was an absolutely horrific experience. I was awake... I could hear things... Everything. Anyways, my recovery is going much better than anticipated, thanks for asking! The procedure itself was so brutal and mentally draining that I never expected the recovery to go so smoothly. Still reading? The point of this post is actually just to say how much I miss bourbon and how excited I am that I will be able to drink again very soon! Tomorrow, to be exact. I already have a bottle of Willett sitting on my table just teasing and mocking me. Your time is coming very soon, bottle of bourbon that sort of looks like a bong! Hydrocodone works very well for me... Hey, how are you doing today? What's on your mind? Please feel free to chime in! God bless America!

Haha! You are correct! I think my delirium was more so due to lack of sleep... Pain pills have an odd affect on me and make me feel all jacked up like I drank a Monster energy drink or something. Weird, right?

That's funny, I have taken one pain pill (that wasn't Advil or what not) in my life, and I had the exact same effect. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, my doctor insisted that I take a Lortab immediately after getting home. I took it, and then was on the couch AMPED and wanting to go for a run. I ended up bringing the rest back to the pharmacy so they could discard them and they were surprised that I had the effect.
I also woke up during my surgery as well. It turns out that I am resistant to anesthetics.
