    The Louisiana state government website says that Christmas is a holiday, but it doesn't say anything about the 26th. Yet, the OMV in East Baton Rouge parish was dark when I went by at 8:00 this morning.

    Anyone know if the OMV (Office of Motor Vehicles) is closed today ... and when they might be opened again?

    Today is a state employee holiday. Tomorrow is not. The should open back up tomorrow. The same thing will happen next week. January 2nd will also be a holiday for state employees.
