I have P229 which has a premo single action trigger, it breaks like glass. It is far better than the 3 production 1911s that I have. It is a cpo blued.
Sigs are nice well made pistols. Your smith 1911 sure is pretty and if I was thinking about your sistuation I would sure want top trade mony for the 1911. And for me FDE takes money off of the sig price. FDE guns cater to a smaller demografiic I would think.

If you don't shoot it and 1911's aren't your thing then I say sale/trade it for something you like and will shoot.

it's hard to say, me growing up with 1911s, but the Sig 227 is like most Sigs an excellent weapon.
