I have an early type 53, one they call a trials rifle from the first year of production. The metal is in good condition with about 50% of bluing remaining. The stock is in decent shape but it's not too beat up. I have seen some really bad ones. Its an excellent shooter with a pristine bore. If your interested I can text more pictures.
