Nationwide I would say less than 1% carry a pistol with a light at all times and that would include all LEO's.

I would say it's more than 1%, but most likely less than 10%. Social media and the wonderful internet has allowed for information to be accessed much easier, and most notably at little to no cost. Most LE I know carry a light off duty, because they know how valuable it is on duty. It may not be the face melting lights offered today, but they understand the utility of it.

I’ve been carrying a light every day for like 10 years. Everyone carrying a gun should have at least a light in their pocket. Having one on the handgun is a good idea too.

All long guns (defensive) should have a light and a sling on them.

Oh, I’m getting ahead of myself...

I'm addicted to the Streamlight MicroStream as an everyday carry "pocket light". Amazing how many times a day that thing gets used.

BTW, in case anyone has never heard of them, these guys are a good source for spare Streamlight parts....I ordered some replacement tailcap switch assemblies. They're good for the MicroStream and Stylus Pro.....

I have a Streamlight on my Glock 17. I also carry or have a Stinger handy. It's good to have a hand held light in case the battery or something (Murphy's Law) happens to your weapon mounted light.

It's good to have a hand held so you don't PID grandma by pointing a gun at her.

Nah, they look at you funny, because you carry a Shield.
I carry that 9c most of the time :P But a Sheild is better than nothing, right?

I think he’s selling it to buy a real gun (aka Glock)

My phone has a light, other than that each car has one in it and my bag has one in it if I really need one. I use to carry one on a clip but I have since dialed back on what I really need in my pockets and on my body.
