Too many Glocks?

Good morning everyone,

I keep looking through all the gear and weapons I have, and have realized something... I have too many Glocks! Now, I know many here will take the standard internet "gun guy" answer of "you can never have too many guns!" I would like some feedback on those of you who have combed through your collections and thinned some out.

How many Glocks do you have vs. how many do you actually use?

Which models/calibers did you keep, and why?

Which models/calibers do you keep returning to?

What are your intended purposes for the different models/calibers?

I used to have 4. I am down to 1 G19 now and will be selling it soon. I always defaulted to the 19 for the most part. It closest fit me but not quiet, ya know.
I have found there are many manufacturer now that have improved designs alot and for me, many fit me better. I am thinking of getting a G20 or G40 later this year.

Glock needs to ramp up R&D, MHO.

Not one. I was gonna get a 17 but then looked at 34. could make my mind up. Then saw an HK VP9 Le and grabbed that.
I still want to the 34 one day.

How many Glocks do you have vs. how many do you actually use?
I have 2. A G23 for cc and a G20sf for woods carry and if a deer or hog is close enough.

Which models/calibers did you keep, and why?
The two I have because they are great shooters. Had the G40 Hunter been available I probably would have it instead of the 20sf, but I'm happy with it.

Which models/calibers do you keep returning to?
I love the 10mm round. I own multiple pistols/calibers but only the two glocks

What are your intended purposes for the different models/calibers?
Concealed Carry and Hunting

How many Glock is too many?
One more than you can reasonably afford or justify owning to yourself.

#1. Have and use several.
#2. G26/G19/G19X/G17/G34 All 9mm due to age/ injuries/physical issues.
#3. Same models as #2.
#4. Self Defense and Range.
#5. N/A.

calibers over the years except GAP and 10mm.

17 is my retired duty gun, 26 is for casual work carry. 42 and 43 take turns as ccw depending on how I feel.

17 Carry on occasion, Mostly GSSF Matches
34 Open. USPSA and GSSF matches
43 carry 90% of the time and GSSF MAtches

Next Glock to buy will be?
19, 26 and maybe a 21

As you may know, I have a few. I carry two of them, but shoot ALL of them when I go to the range.

All of mine are either 19’s, 17’s or 34’s with around 3 examples of each.

I personalized each one, so that keeps it interesting. But I too feel as though I have too many sometimes. But I wouldn’t know which to sell

I do think i own too many Roni's. I ended up buying 2 brace versions, one in black and the other in FDE to see which I prefer. Well decided to stick with black. So if anyone is looking for a roni, let me know.

I have owned numerous Glock pistols. With that being said, I have 4 Glocks: G27 Gen3, G19Gen3, G23C RTF2, and 17L Gen 1.

I carry/shoot my 19 the most.. the 17L a close runner up for shooting, then the 27 gets carried and shot less. The 23 gets the least use because its probably the least practical of the 4.

I shoot/favor the 9mm Glocks over the 40 because they are more practical for my uses. Cheaper ammo, less recoil, more capacity. I have sentimental attachment to the 27 and the 23c RTF...well try to find another one..(if you do let me know the price)

Which models/calibers did you keep, and why? 2nd Gen G17 in 9mm, because the ammo can be found at every gas station, taco stand, sporting good store, and retail establishment in the nation. G43 in .380 ACP, because for whatever reason the gun fits my hand perfectly and the low recoil means I can shoot it with near surgical-precision.

Which models/calibers do you keep returning to? See above. I've owned about a half-dozen other Glocks, but those were the keepers.

What are your intended purposes for the different models/calibers? Because I live in a free country where I can own guns of different size and caliber, and because I'm all about the freedom to choose.

How many Glock is too many? I'm not a registered member of the Democratic party.
