Out of work temporarily and need some cash to tide me over. This gun was fired exactly 3 times. It’s in perfect condition. Hasn’t been fired since the Crimson Trace was put on a couple years ago. Never carried. Sat in a safe all this time. I’ll throw in a carrying case, 84 rounds of Winchester 95gr Target ammo, and 50 rounds of Tula 91gr steel case for free. These guns are $450 at the cheapest retailer and the crimson trace is $150. That’s $600 but I’ll let someone steal it for $500 + FFL transfer. I’m in St Tammany Parish. Can travel a bit if need be.

I think what he's asking (and I'm curious too) is are you saying that if you sell this firearm the transaction must be done through an FFL instead of a private party sale?

Yes, I want it no longer registered to me when I sell it. But, I’ll pay $20 towards the transfer (if sold locally), or towards shipping if I have to sell it across state lines (in which case it has to go through an FFL holder anyway.

You do realize that there is no "firearm registry" in Louisiana right? Your pistol is not now and never was "registered" to you. The form 4473 you filled out when you bought it, was a background check, and nothing more. Just putting some info out there for ya man...
