    I don't see how there could be a way to make mental health exams required. I think the area they'd improve upon is integrating mental health records with gun purchasing, if they ever found a way to work around HIPAA.

    They are actively trying to work around the Constitution! If the goal was to actually address the problem, HIPAA wouldn't stand a chance. They want the 2nd. End game.

    If they can improve on mental health checks/determinations there will be much farther reaching issues than just firearm ownership.

    If they start prodding that beehive there will be a lot of consequences. Might actually get the pill issue we are having some media time? I really feel like they should start limiting rights to these heavily medicated people for the rest of us. Keep them off the streets and maybe have signs and stuff people like that have to display to let the rest of us know that they are basically incapable of being normal without the pills.

    Bet those Dems would love that idea...
