Twenty one competitors (20 for record) enjoyed a very pleasant February day of friendly high power competition last Saturday. The wind made things a bit sporty but that’s all part of the fun.
An Excellence in Competition High Power “Leg” match will be conducted Sunday the 18th of March. This match will follow the regularly scheduled monthly match on Saturday the 17th. That way you can get your zeros in the Saturday Regional format match and be ready to go the next day for the Leg match. Registration the day of the match will be from 0700 to 0800 and we will take walk-ons but pre-registration is encouraged. The registration fee for the Leg match is $20.00 including for juniors. Registration for the regular monthly approved NRA High Power match on Saturday the 17th will be from 0700 to 0800 and is $12.00 for club members, $15.00 for non-club members and $5.00 for juniors.

February 2018 High Power Match Results

Competitors,

Please find attached the match results for the subject match conducted
last Saturday at the Palo Alto range. We had a good turnout with some
returning folks we have not seen in too long. Welcome back!

The next NRA approved monthly High Power XTC match at Palo Alto is
scheduled for 17 March. Registration opens at 7:00 am and closes at 8:00
am with the first relay called to the line at 8:45 am. $12.00 for
members of Palo Alto, $15.00 for non-members and $5.00 for junior
competitors. If you require support for a junior shooter contact me via
email or phone and let me know.

There will be a Civilian Marksmanship Program Excellence in Competition
(EIC) "Leg" match conducted on Sunday 18 March which follows that
regularly scheduled monthly high power match on Saturday the 17th. It
will follow the National Match course of fire which means 50 shots with
no sighting shots allowed. Attached is an SR-1 card which I ask you to
use to register. The cost of the EIC match is $20.00. Please mail your
completed SR-1 card and cheque made out to "Joseph Meynier" to me at 636
Andrews Avenue, Metairie, LA. 70005-2904. Pre-registration is encouraged
but not required. We will take walk-ons the day of the match.

There will also be a pistol "Leg" match held immediately after the rifle
Leg match on 18 March. Contact Skip Blanchard in the cc line for more
