What r u talking about? I just paused it several times and clearly there is a barrel stub, portion of the gas tube, heat shields, and hand guard in the upper receiver section of the firearm, as he walks back to his chair.
Grant you he did a miserable job of destroying the weapon as many of us have noted earlier, but fake? I don't believe so.
